# Your first-offer launch check

Private draft. This diagnostic helps you choose a practical next task. It does not predict purchases, income or business success. The first supported use case is one expertise-based service, starting in Australia. You can work alone or with a partner.

Before you start, protect enough time and financial runway to explore without depending on immediate sales for essential expenses. Redundancy, a severance payment or a strong CV does not establish demand. You do not need an existing consultancy, but you do need useful experience you are authorised to use.

## Score five decisions

Give each question 0 for not yet, 2 for partly, or 4 for a specific answer backed by something you can show. Record the evidence beside the score. A high total means the preparation is clearer, not that buyers will purchase.

1. **Buyer:** Can you name a particular person and situation where your expertise could help? A role plus a problem is more useful than “small businesses”. Write who has the problem, who pays and how you could learn from them without assuming access or permission.
2. **Problem:** Can you describe a useful problem in the buyer's words? Record what you have actually observed. Keep your interpretation separate from what a buyer said. A problem you solved inside an employer may need a different scope outside it.
3. **Offer:** Can you specify a bounded result you can deliver? Name the inputs, work, outputs, exclusions, price hypothesis and completion check. Do not promise revenue, time savings or other results you have not substantiated.
4. **Setup:** Can you protect time and follow a connection test? List required accounts, account owners and separate costs. Identify the enquiry destination, confirmation, CRM record and follow-up stop conditions. A saved setting is not proof that the receiving system worked.
5. **First invitations:** Can you identify a suitable, permitted way to reach relevant people? Distinguish a public community from permission to post there, a connection from an opted-in lead, and a draft invitation from one sent. Willingness to sell matters alongside expertise.

Totals: 0–7 means choose the weakest foundation first; 8–15 means make the offer more specific and build a small test; 16–20 means check the complete journey and prepare a demand test. These bands organise action and are not validated market scoring.

- The buyer and situation I want to investigate:
- What I know from buyers, with source and date:
- What I am still assuming:
- My bounded service output:
- Inputs I need from the buyer:
- Work and completion check:
- Scope exclusions and delivery effort:
- Draft price and separate account costs:
- One relevant channel and its permission requirement:
- My next test and what would change my mind:

For example, **Clearweek Operations** is a fictional participant business offering a weekly delivery review setup to small consulting teams, at an illustrative A$750 price. The example shows how to scope an offer; it is not Built From Bed's product, a real customer or evidence that the price will sell.

## Complete one next task

Choose your lowest score. For buyer or problem, prepare specific research questions before building more assets. For offer, complete the brief and calculate delivery effort. For setup, run a test enquiry and find the actual receiving record, then test suppression. For invitations, prepare a short explanation, a clear next step and a source-tagged response log. You decide whether and when to send.

The full launch kit adds editable infrastructure, a content workflow and setup instructions. Software, advertising, personal implementation and guaranteed sales are not included. Publication and real payment connections require separate release decisions. Save your dated evidence, record unresolved connections and repeat this check after the first useful test.

Supported default: your own authenticated Codex CLI through your ChatGPT subscription, Node 24 or later, customer-owned n8n 2.45.5 and the pinned local renderer. Verify subscription limits and separate hosting costs. The local review does not establish public hosting, payment, email or GoHighLevel connections.
